Rappaport Roundtable: Gridlock in Congress

Former U.S. Representatives Robert A. Weygand (D-RI) and Bob McEwen (R-OH) from the nationial program Congress to Campus visit Suffolk University Law School on Thursday, February 21, from 12-1:30pm, for a lunchtime roundtable discussion.
The Congress to Campus Program enables citizens across the country to interact with former members of Congress, facilitating dialogue and generating interest in public policy and public service. Join Government Department Chair Rachael Cobb and Reps. Weygand and McEwen for a roundtable discussion of gridlock and polarization in Congress, the role of the Tea Party, and the prospects for meaningful congressional action on issues such as the national debt and gun control.
Co-sponsored by the Rappaport Center for Law and Public Policy, the Moakley Archive and Institute, and the Suffolk University Government Department, with financial support from Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts.
This session will be held in the First Floor Function Room, Suffolk University Law School, 120 Tremont Street.
